His career has spanned all manner of violent crime, from homicide to murder for hire, and from child exploitation to elder abuse and extortion. He received nine commendations for investigative excellence, including a rare commendation from opposing defense counsel in an extortion case.
As an expert witness, Christopher focuses on wrongful convictions and cold cases, crime scene analysis, and elder abuse. He is board certified in behavioral analysis — commonly referred to as criminal profiling — and in crime scene analysis and crime reconstruction.

A thirty-three-year-old abduction, rape and murder that the FBI, the Missouri Highway Patrol and two sheriff’s offices had not solved. Detailed reanalysis identified an eyewitness, leading to the 2024 arrest and conviction of two brothers. The case is scheduled to be featured in December 2026 on the Discovery Channel program On the Case with Paula Zahn.
